Kermi’s Kindy Child Care is a privately owned and operated long day care centre that specialises in Early Childhood Care and Education.

Our centre caters for children from the age of 2 years to 5 years of age and provides an exceptionally high quality, developmentally balanced early learning, education and care program.

Our learning, education and care program aims to stimulate and challenge your child’s learning and development. We combine play-based learning within our planning and aim to incorporate child’s interests, strengths, relationships, and prior knowledge to our program.

Kermi’s Kindy offers a Preschool program for children aged 4-5 years of age, which focuses on teaching your child the fundamental skills and knowledge needed in preparing them for their transition to school.

Our Programs

Kermi’s Kindy Child Care provides innovative and stimulating programs which incorporates both children’s interests, family input, the world around us and also intentional teaching experiences.

Our programming is based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) – Belonging, Being and Becoming.

  • Belonging – to my family, friends and the community.
  • Being – time to be, to seek and make meaning of the world through play.
  • Becoming – a valued member of society; all that I can be.

Incorporating the EYLF – five learning outcomes, the educators will set goals and capture complex learning and development of young children:

  • Children have a strong sense of identity.
  • Children are connected with and contribute to their world.
  • Children have a strong sense of wellbeing.
  • Children are confident and involved learners.
  • Children are effective communicators.

Our programs are focused on developing the optimum potential for every child taking into account their own unique personalities and stage of development.
